Who we are
The EVP Consultancy is a specialist EVP and employer brand consultancy run by Vicki Saunders. This website is theevpconsultancy.co.uk. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can reach us at vicki@theevpconsultancy.co.uk.
What data we collect
We keep things simple. We only collect data you actively choose to share with us - for example, your name and email address if you use our contact form or email us directly. We do not buy data, scrape data, or collect information from third parties about you.
How we use your data
If you get in touch, we use your details to respond to your enquiry. That is it. We will not add you to a mailing list without your permission, we will not share your information with anyone else, and we will not use your data for anything beyond what you would reasonably expect from the conversation you started.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use this site - which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where visitors come from. This helps us make the site more useful. Analytics data is anonymised and we cannot identify individual visitors from it. Analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Here is what we use:
Essential cookie
evpc_consent - stores your cookie preference (accepted or declined). This is necessary for the site to remember your choice so we do not ask you every time you visit. It expires after one year.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
_ga, _ga_* - set by Google Analytics to distinguish users and sessions. These are only placed if you accept analytics cookies via the banner. They expire after two years.
We do not use any advertising, marketing, or social media tracking cookies.
Changing your mind
If you accepted cookies and want to withdraw consent, you can clear your browser cookies for this site and the banner will reappear on your next visit. Alternatively, you can reset your cookie preferences here and the banner will reappear.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold is whatever you sent us in an email or contact form submission. If you want to exercise any of these rights, just email us at vicki@theevpconsultancy.co.uk and we will sort it out promptly.
Third parties
This site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may process limited server log data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the site to your browser. You can read Netlify's privacy policy for details. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
